Stem Cell Therapy

Peripheral Blood (Apheresis):

• The most common method.

• Blood is drawn from the patient or donor, stem cells are separated using a machine, and the remaining blood is returned to the body.

Bone Marrow Aspiration:

• Stem cells are collected directly from the bone marrow, usually from the hip bone under anesthesia.

Umbilical Cord Blood Collection:

• Stem cells are taken from the umbilical cord immediately after childbirth (safe for both mother and baby).
